My haircut inspired by Stephanie Szostak's hair in Dinner for Schmucks. Surprisingly cute hair for the evening after a VERY LONG DAY of running around the Garment District. 2 HOT Bicycle rides with HELMET of course and it still looks pretty cute. I washed it today. Let it air dry then put in some wax after I got to work.
I will not wash it tomorrow! And maybe not the next day - but it's kind of too hot to be going too many days between

Surprisingly cute hair for the evening after a VERY LONG DAY of running around the Garment District. 2 HOT Bicycle rides with HELMET of course and it still looks pretty cute. I washed it today. Let it air dry then put in some wax after I got to work.
I will not wash it tomorrow! And maybe not the next day - but it's kind of too hot to be going too many days between

I took the advice of beautiful Flickr member Johanni, and tried to put my hair in pin curls. I looked enormously sexy last night as I ascended the stairs in hairclips & headscarf, but it was actually worth it this morning. It's the first time I have successfully recreated a vintage curl, so I am pleased. Need more practice tho.

The box said burgundy, but my hair is obstinate and never comes out the way it's suppose to. It's more of a purple-ish/red-ish/brown. I don't really care though, as long as it's dark. That's all I wanted.

My son, who changes his hair color like a chameleon changes color, wants to be a model. I always thought he should be. We just really haven't done much about it. I took a few shots of him today using my new studio lighting for the first time, but only using my iPhone camera. Still, the results were not bad. It's been pouring rain here most of the day, and hasn't been much of an Easter.

I'm a big fan of Camels... and this fellow at our Zoo is very sweet and seems quite friendly. The way our Zoo is setup, you can get fairly close to the Camel and I've not seen him spit or act aggressively in any way to the throng of visitors.

The funny thing is, this hair color is SO neonish that it really does look a lot like the picture in real life :D It's definitely bright and bold!
I've washed and treated her hair and it is SUPER soft now :D I need to finish her face-up, glue her scalp down, trim her ends/style her hair and find her a rockin' outfit and she'll be complete.
Seeing her like this makes it REALLY hard to even think about putting her up FA. I am

"Your hair is always such a mess," Sasha said to Sally today. "And you're always dressed like a boy."
This wasn't the first time Sally's older sister bothered her about her appearance. Sasha puts a lot of time and effort into her own looks, but Sally'd rather use that time to study, explore, research, and learn.
"Katie always dresses nicely, and look how cute her hair is," Sasha continued.
